Nick has broad experience in biotechnology, leading several alliance projects in discovering novel insect and herbicide resistance traits in his 15 years in the industry.

In addition, Nick supervised introgression of these traits into crops while at Monsanto, Novartis and Pioneer. He also led international research teams in discovery, characterization and transformation of traits into crops.

Nick received his B.S. in biochemistry and botany from the University of Maryland and his M.S. and Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Missouri.
