Karl is Chairman of the Board of AllessaChemie GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany. He received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Goettingen (Germany). Karl is the former Head of Morgan Grenfell Private Equity Ltd. Germany.

Previously, Karl served as Chief Executive Officer of Clariant International Ltd. (Specialty Chemicals). Karl is also a former Member of the Board of Management at Hoechst AG where he was responsible for Agriculture, Specialty Chemicals and Diagnostics.

Karl combines a distinguished track record in international senior management in the agriculture and chemicals industries with an excellent knowledge of the global finance and investment environment.
